About the Authors
We are Jacqui (Jack) Button and Lorraine (Loz) Hughes, both property professionals, living in St.Albans and London respectively. As ardent Fulham FC fans, we are committed season ticket holders at the Cottage. Our regular blog, which we do after home matches and others we manage to get to, 'Jack and Loz at the Cottage' was started in 2017, and has a loyal following. We have spoken on fan podcasts, including Fulhamish, and been interviewed on BBC Radio London and Radio 5 Live as recognised supporters.
In the autumn of 2019, we had the idea of jointly writing a novel set at the Club we both love. By January 2020, fuelled by caffeine and plenty of wine, we had agreed the plot of our first novel, Crossing the Line. We published that in 2021 and have since written two follow-up books so that five years later, we have completed the trilogy.
