About the Authors
We are Jacqui (Jack) Button and Lorraine (Loz) Hughes, both property professionals, living in St.Albans and London respectively. As ardent Fulham FC fans, we are committed season ticket holders at the Cottage. Our regular blog, which we do after home matches and others we manage to get to, 'Jack and Loz at the Cottage' was started in 2017, and has a loyal following. We have spoken on fan podcasts and been interviewed on BBC Radio London and Radio 5 Live as recognised supporters. In 2022, we were delighted to champion Mitro on the FFC website as Fulham's greatest ever scorer. We were even more delighted when out of a cast of greats, he won! Here's the link to the FulhamFC website where you can see the video of us extolling his virtues. We were devastated to see him go. But we have the memories.
In the autumn of 2019, we had the idea of jointly writing a novel set at the Club we both love. By January 2020, fuelled by cappuccinos and plenty of wine, we had agreed the plot of our first novel, Crossing the Line.
